The Assassination of a High School President 4/5*

This is a pleasing and logically plotted whodunit that's nowhere near as awesome as Brick, but still a nice movie night flick. Mischa Barton and Bruce Willis help instead of harm a script that vibes like it was written by an extremely well-read sixteen year-old genius, and then dumbed down in a few parts by the studio. That said, it didn't compromise much, and probably got punished for its unique and worthwhile slant. The movie is perfectly enjoyable and deserves viewing if the summary strikes you as intriguing.

*Be forewarned the "Forget it Funke. It's High School" line and the protagonist's ultra-mild case of acne are the only reasons this reviewer handed out a fourth star.
