It lived up to my stratospheric expectations, dominates The Dark Knight (not a hard task in my mind...), and I wouldn't mind if it got Best Picture, but there was still something cold and detached about it that kept me from fiving. After mulling hard for a week, I've come to the conclusion that if a film keeps me from wanting to watch another movie for over forty eight hours or even absorb any other media, because I want to keep ruminating on it, than it did its job and was beyond good. If you didn't already know, Inception made it clear; Joseph Gordon-Levitt owns that town. I think this was my favorite scene.
