The Third Best Thing Ever?

If Bit Torrent and Netflix are the best things ever than a VGA cable, which lets you connect your laptop to your TV, can’t be far behind. This video is corny, but it includes everything you need to know. With Hulu, Netflix instant, $15 antennas that pick up the tournament in HD, and the ability to torrent premium cable’s best there is really no need to play ball with the cable companies and their antiquated packaging system.

The cheapest cable should still work perfectly, the blurb on the Office Depot cable I bought said it was for 17” and smaller monitors, but as far as I can tell the 56” picture it throws out is flawless. As long as the cable isn’t an “extender” and is male on both ends it should do the job. The first time you connect the cable you may have to tweak you graphics card settings, but don’t despair it's easy and you are almost done. True, your HD won't be HDMI quality, but that is a minuscule downside.
