I pretty much just checked this show out so I could say, "I hate it" with authority. Halfway through the first episode it was obvious that it was really funny and clever as heck, but even with the hilariousness of the following episodes I was still ready to cut it loose due to it's cold/clinical feel, and my own desire to be proven right.
Then this episode happened. As with most comedies, "30 Rock" included, the quality of "Community" episodes ebbs and flows, and while it hasn't yet reached the depths of "The Gang Exploits the Mortgage Crisis" it has achieved the opposite. I think this season's other sitcoms will have trouble following up the H.O.R.S.E. equivalent of a backwards half-court swish.
