Cinnabon Clone Attempt

I think that cooking, like reading books, is overrated (complex term) and that food/cooking shows (not procedure YouTube videos) are a kind of engaging and prolix pornography for which sandwich photo blogs are a good replacement, however, there are caveats to those mostly uninvestigated statements.

I've been wanting to move on from making terrific sandwiches, decent omelets, crockpot roasts, and horrible experiments to actually good Phad Thai, especially a sugar/gluten-free 4 Hour Body-esque version now that I've become aware of and tried Miracle/Shirataki noodles, awesome cinnamon rolls, they are "a" great passion "of" my life that are harder to come by in their perfect form than you would think, and great omelets. That's it, if I come up for anything else it might be lasagna.

After that... my guess is cooking websites will never hear from me again.

I had the prescribed thirty-ish grams of protein, four eggs, first. Then three frosting drenched within an inch of being inedible rolls, two glasses of milk, one of coffee, and was groaning back in bed by 7:45. Here's the recipe.

Miraculously I'm in week two of round two of the 4 Hour Body/slow-carb diet so today is cheat day. Not sure what time I woke up but it took me a while to make the frosting and figure out how to work the gosh darn European oven. 23 minutes at 180c left them not doughy at all and with a hint of dryness next time I'll do 20 minutes at 175c and by then we'll have Pyrex instead of metal which should help.

Having American measuring utensils or at least converting all of the amounts in excel instead of on the fly on the iphone would have been a grand idea. I'm saying that finding American brown sugar in Hackney is impossible so I settled for mixing white sugar with a dark brown molasses sugar which seems to have a little more kick. It worked well enough to use next time. A commenter said mixing butter/sugar/cinnamon spread together before application stemmed drainage so I'll give that a spin but not doing so does give the base a tongue friendly coating. Because of the comments I doubled the frosting amount which was completely unnecessary even with beyond liberal usage, so the insane excess will be joining the four and a half rolls in the freezer.
